A 21-year-old who smashed the window of a fast food restaurant and assaulted a police officer in Cirencester has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Seamus Ratcliffe, of Furrow Way, Mickleton, pleaded guilty to both offences when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on January 27.
He also pleaded guilty to a further offence of assault by beating.
Magistrates heard how on August 12, Ratcliffe assaulted a PC in Cirencester by beating him.
Ratcliffe then smashed a window belonging to Subway in Brewery Court to the value of £408.10 on October 16.
On the same day, Ratcliffe assaulted a man in Cirencester.
He was sentenced to 16 weeks in jail, which was suspended for two years, ordered to pay Subway £200 in compensation and the PC £100 in compensation.
