Fairford Primary School will close tomorrow after an outbreak of a sickness bug which is affecting staff and pupils.
The school will be closed for a deep clean in an attempt to stop the sickness spreading further.
Currently, 70 children at the school and an increasing number of staff are off unwell.
There are 260 pupils at the school.
In a message to parents, a spokesman for the school said: "We have made the difficult decision to close the school tomorrow.
"We have arranged for a deep clean of the school tomorrow to try and stop the sickness spreading further.
"The school will reopen on Monday.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and are grateful for your support in this matter.
"If you wish to collect your child before 3pm today please come to the school office.
"Treetops and all other after school clubs are cancelled this evening (Thursday, February 6).
"If your child is to be collected by someone other than contacts we are aware of, please let the school office know so we can advice the class teachers."
