A man has been arrested in connection with a glassing in Cirencester which left a man with serious facial injuries.
Police were called to the Barn Theatre on Sunday, October 6 after 24-year-old Tim Unwin was hit over the head with a Stein glass.
A 29-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of assault on Friday and has since been released on bail until February 17 to allow for further enquiries to be made.
The assault left Tim with a number of deep cuts on his forehead as well as wounds on his face and back.
When asked about the impact of the assault after appealing for information earlier this month, Tim said: "This was a completely unprovoked and callous attack on me at the end of what was a good night out with friends.
"I have injuries on my face and back that have scarred me for life and they will be an everlasting reminder of this incident, of which I am now suffering with anxiety as a result of this mindless attack."
