A popular takeaway in Yate has received a poor hygiene rating after an inspection last month.
Spice 37, in North Yate, was inspected by safety officers at South Gloucestershire Council on December 18 last year.
The takeaway, on Wellington Road received a 1 star rating.
They received two 'Improvement Necessary' scores and one 'Major Improvement Necessary'.
This means they need to improve the way they handle food in the building.
The cleanliness and condition of the building and facilities was given an improvement necessary mark.
They have also been told that they need to seriously improve the way they manage food safety.
Spice had previously received a three rating in December 2018 and July 2018.
They had received a top, 5 rating in 2016.
