House prices dropped more than average for the South West in the Cotswolds in November, new figures show.
But the drop does not reverse the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 2.9 per cent annual growth.
The average the Cotswolds house price in November was £388,278, Land Registry figures show – a 0.6 per cent decrease on October.
Over the month, the picture was similar to that across the South West, where prices decreased 0.3 per cent , and the Cotswolds underperformed compared to the 0.4 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in the Cotswolds rose by £11,000 – putting the area ninth among the South West’s 36 local authorities for annual growth.
