Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School in Wotton-under-Edge has been named in the top three per cent in the country for progress across a range of measures.

Recently released data for the summer 2019 A-level results also places KLB A-level students in the top five per cent nationally over the past three years.

Hannah Khan, head of sixth form, said: “These figures show our students do considerably better than national expectations. It really is a fantastic tribute to how hard they work and how well they are taught and supported.’

There have also been successes for the school away from the exam hall. This term has started with the publication of the KLB Sixth Form Charity Calendar featuring students and staff presenting tableaux from their favourite films.

“Not only did we all have great fun dressing up as famous movie characters, but we also raised £500 for The British Heart Foundation. It was a fantastic result,” said Miss Khan.
