DRIVERS are being warned not to try to drive through flooded roads after two people had to be rescued from their vehicle in Oaksey this morning.

Fire crews from Malmesbury were called to Minety Lane at 11.40am after a vehicle got stuck in flooded water.

It is thought that they ignored an official road closure sign and drove into the flooded water.

A police spokesman said: "Please do be considerate of other drivers and pedestrians.

"Do not drive into large puddles."
