Police are warning residents to remain vigilant following an increase in burglaries.
Over the past few weeks, there has been an increased number of outbuilding break-ins in Ampney Crucis and Ampney St Peter.
Thieves have been cutting padlocks to the buildings and targeting garden machinery along with general garden tools.
A spokesman for the Fairford and Lechlade Neighbourhood Team said: "Please can we remind residents to check their home/outbuildings security and continue to report all suspicious incidents via 101 or 999 if a crime is taking place.
"The local policing team will be carrying out increased hi-visibility patrols in the area.
"Please feel free to stop and speak to us about any concerns/issues when you see us in the area."
