A 29-YEAR-OLD man who admitted breaching his suspended sentence has avoided jail.
Paul Tomes, of Batsford Close, Bourton-on-the-Water, pleaded guilty to three offences and admitted breaching a suspended sentence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on December 11.
Magistrates heard how Tomes drove without insurance and without a licence on London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh on July 11.
Tomes also admitted damaging a Seat Toledo to a value unknown with intent to damage the car on the same day in Moreton.
The offences meant Tomes had breached a suspended sentence imposed by magistrates back in February.
However, Tomes avoided jail as magistrates instead imposed new restrictions on his suspended sentence.
Tomes will now be under a curfew for the next three weeks with electronic monitoring until January 7, preventing him from leaving his flat between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
He was handed eight points on his licence, and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £322.
