A Tetbury man has been fined after he was convicted of driving without insurance.

Nicholas Gault, 39, of West Street, was found guilty of the offence when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on December 4.

He was caught driving on the A417 between Gloucester and Birdlip on June 28 this year without insurance.

He was handed six penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £811.
