TRAINS between Dorchester South and Poole are cancelled tomorrow due to engineering work.
South Western Railway said the lines between Poole and Dorchester South will be closed all day Sunday December 15 for maintenance work, and a replacement bus service will be in place.
However trains between Weymouth and Dorchester South will be running, as will the service between London Waterloo and Poole.
Fast buses will run between Poole and Weymouth, only calling at Wareham and Wool.
The cancellations come amid strike action being held this month by the RMT union.
The strike is being held due to an ongoing dispute about the role of the guard on trains and whether that role can be guaranteed.
Strike days proposed are December 2-11, December 13-24 and December 27-January 1.
