One of the head coaches at a popular jiu-jitsu group in Yate is celebrating after winning the belt at a recent championship.
Antonio Bustorff, 35, opened Gracie Barra in Yate just over one year ago.
He has competed in the NAGA Championships before, aiming to win on several occasions before, but the tale had a different ending on November 23 in Wolverhampton.
Antono competed in the elite division in the competition and won every fight in his tournament to take home the belt.
Two other students from Yate's Gracie Barra centre competed in the competition.
Pete Turner came home with a silver medal and William Coomber won a silver and a bronze in their respective divisions.
