A Cirencester cafe and eatery has been reproduced as a detailed gingerbread house by one of its regulars.
Jack’s Tearoom & Kitchen is attached to the town’s Corinium Museum and situated on Black Jack Street and has been given a gingerbread tribute by Apprenticeship Management Group employee - Alis Anipai.
The impressive edible sculpture took three weeks of evening baking for the 32-year-old Alis who has only ever made one before.
“I am not a professional,” she scoffed.
“It took a lot of calculation and a few errors.
"I am not sure how much icing or dough I have got through for the finished shop.”
Jack’s manager Laura Stringer said: “It is such a beautiful thing with so much detail, even down to having a little Christmas tree inside - it is really impressive.
“All of the customers have been talking about it so it has had to go on display next to all of our delicious fresh cakes.”
