Tytherington international middle-distance runner Dan Studley moved up to the marathon distance for the first time, clocking an excellent 2 hours, 18 minutes finishing time in Valencia.
Studley ended up 54th out of 25,000 runners and 4th British finisher out of more than 1,000 English runners.
Studley now sits just outside the top 20 marathon times by British runners in 2019 to go with his 10th position for the half-marathon .
The Valencia marathon was won by Ethiopia`s Kinde Atanaw in a course record time of 2 hours and 3 mins.Also Kaan Kigen Ozbilen in a 2nd place time of 2 hours 4 minutes broke Mo Farah`s European record set in Chicago in 2018.
