FOUR leading contenders are on a shortlist to become the next manager of Cirencester Town.
The Wilts and Glos understands chairman Steve Abbley is interviewing the contenders today and tomorrow with a view to an appointment this week.
Former Shortwood United and Bishop’s Cleeve manager Alex Sykes and ex-Newport County and Forest Green defender Darren Jones and are thought to be in the frame to replace Charlie Griffin, who left by mutual consent after three years in charge at the Corinium Stadium.

Cirencester entertain Bristol City in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup and face local rivals Slimbridge in the league at Thornhill Park on Saturday.
