CANDIDATES standing for the General Election in the Cotswolds will be taking part in a hustings events at Westonbirt School tomorrow.
It is being held in the Orangery tomorrow evening (Thursday) from 7pm to 8.30pm.
The event, which is open to the public, has been arranged by the school's Sixth Form Breakfast & Politics Group.
Hattie in Year 13 who is part of the group and who hopes to read History and Politics at University, said: “This is such an exciting opportunity for us to learn more about the political parties and widen our viewpoints, especially as many of us are heading to University soon and will be voting on 12 December.”
Deputy head Simon Balderson said: "I am delighted that members of our local community, as well as our pupils and staff will have the opportunity to quiz our prospective parliamentary candidates ahead of the general election.
"It is a great opportunity for our students to see real life politics in action and I hope we are joined by many of our local constituents on the evening.”
