A man has been seen running at traffic on the M5.
A MAN has been located safe and well after he was spotted running near traffic on the M5.
The incident happened near the Michaelwood Services close to junction 14.
He was located at the service area.
Rolling road closures were put in place.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: “Shortly before 9.20am we responded to a concern for welfare call about a man on the hard shoulder of the M5, near to the exit sliproad of the Michaelwood service area. The man was thought to be seeking a lift.
“Another call reported that the man was in the carriageway of the motorway.
“Highways England currently has a rolling road closure in place.”
