A Cotswold primary school held a very moving and respectful Remembrance Service on Wednesday.
Ampney Crucis Primary School held the service led by their school’s act of worship group and the rector of the church of the holy rood, The Rev’d Canon John Swanton.
The whole school assembled outside on the school’s playground gathering around a flagpole, to listen to prayers, readings and the names of the fallen from Ampney Crucis village.
A spokesman for the school said: "Mrs Wood, the head teacher, was particularly proud of the act of worship group as they had worked together to plan and deliver the service and did an excellent job in leading the whole school in a very moving service.
"We at Ampney Crucis C of E School, will never forget. We will remember them."
