Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft in Cirencester.
Yesterday morning, PS Clark with PC's Johnstone and Salmon stopped a car following a report of suspicious activity around a car parked on Beeches Road.
Both men, from Swindon, were arrested and taken into custody.
A catalytic converter, as well as drugs and various tools were seized.
PC Richie Webb said: "We urge our residents to check their vehicles and report any suspicious incidents to the police.
"We will continue our patrols in the area to deter, disrupt and detect any criminal behaviour."
Both men remain in custody and officers would like to thank the member of the public who reported the incident.
