The Met Office have confirmed that the wet weather across Gloucestershire is due to stop by the end of the week.
After an extended period of wet weather throughout much of October, the rest of this week should be drier weather.
Today is expected to be cloudy with sunny intervals across the region, with weather for the rest of the week expected to be similar.
The Met Office have described the forecast for this week as: "Mainly dry with sunny spells and the odd shower.
"Wednesday will be dry in the west, with potential showers in the east.
"Thursday morning will be foggy with scattered showers throughout the region. Friday will remain dry."
