Police have praised staff at a Cirencester supermarket following the arrest of a suspected drink driver.
Staff at Waitrose refused to sell drinks to a customer they believed was under the influence of alcohol earlier this week.
When staff saw the customer get into their Nissan Micra, they followed her to Victoria Street where PC West caught up with her.
She is said to have failed to provide a breath specimen both roadside and in custody.
A tweet by Cotswolds Police detailing the incident added: "Charge to follow."
