A TEENAGED Stroud father has admitted possessing a CS gas gun and dealing in cocaine.

Zak Jackson, 19, of Mason Road, Slad appeared before Judge Ian Lawrie QC at Gloucester Crown Court today (Monday).

He committed the two offences – possession of a prohibited weapon and possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply – on February 12, last year.

Said defending lawyer Sarah Jenkins: “My client committed these offences when he was 17 years old and he now lives with his partner and their 19-month-old son.

Judge Lawrie QC told him: “I am ordering a stand-down pre sentence report and I will sentence you tomorrow (Tuesday).

“Custody is inevitable in this case but it is just a question of for how long.”

Prosecuting barrister Caighli Taylor said: “The defendant admits dealing and he played a significant role.”

Jackson was granted unconditional bail.
