The Green Party has named its parliamentary candidate for the Cotswolds.
Cirencester Town Council Cllr Sabrina Poole (Four Acres Ward) will contest the constituency for the Green Party in the next general election, standing against Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown.
Cllr Sabrina Poole said: "The Conservatives want to get Brexit done.
"But for those of us that do not have mates gambling on the outcome for huge financial gain, it’s climate change, a Green New Deal and our public services that really matter."
Cllr Poole was announced alongside five other Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for the Green Party in Gloucestershire in the event of a General Election this Autumn.
Molly Scott Cato, who currently represents the South West region as a member of the European Parliament will contest David Drew's Stroud seat.
She added: "The deadlock at Westminster and the sad state of our democratic system are reasons to vote for change.
"Establishing stability, revitalising our democracy, protecting our climate and environment, and protecting the most vulnerable in our society must be our aims after Brexit has been stopped."
