Tetbury Hospital has received an £100 donation from a community festival.

Hospital chairman Jeremy Hardwick and CEO Zena Dalton were presented with a cheque last Thursday by Malcolm Philby, one of the organisers of Tetfest, Tetbury’s annual live music event.

Money raised through a bucket collection at the festival is set to benefit a number of local charities and organisations, including Friends of Tetbury Hospital.

“Tetfest is rapidly becoming a firm fixture on Tetbury’s annual events calendar and we are thrilled that the organisers are supporting Friends of Tetbury Hospital with this very generous donation,” Zena Dalton said.

“The money will be put towards new hospital equipment and facilities, which will benefit many people in the local community.”

Plans for Tetfest 2020 are already in progress, with the event scheduled to take place at Worwell Farm, Cirencester Road, Tetbury on July 11 2020. As well as providing family friendly entertainment, Tetfest gives local bands and musicians an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a live audience.

Bands already booked for the festival will be announced soon.
