Officers have issued a warning to residents
Police have warned that car theft is on the up in the North Cotswolds.
Over the last few weeks, police say there has been a slight increase in theft from motor vehicles, with a noticeable hotspot around Bourton-On-The-Water.
PSCO Charlie Symes said: "We are asking that all residents make sure their vehicles have no valuables, hand bags or wallets on display when parked, residencies are locked and sheds/garages are properly secured.
"Vigilance is the best form of defence against criminality."
