I was very interested to read Sarah Woods response to my letter re the horrifically dangerous Tetbury Road between the hospital and the Deer Park School.
I'm amazed that she raised the matter with the council four years ago and the matter has not been addressed.
As she says there needs to be a speed limit on this particular by-pass but as there is very rarely any speed monitoring by the police it would be pointless.
The obvious answer is speed restriction signs of say 40 miles (or even 30 miles) per hour.
One speed camera will certainly concentrate motorists minds.
Is this a lot to ask when it is so obvious that this is such a hazardous footpath and children's lives are at stake?
