HUNDREDS of walkers took on a 21 mile challenge on Sunday to raise money for a Stroud charity.
Returning for a 32nd year, the Five Valleys Walk is a fundraiser for Meningitis Now.
Beginning at Stroud Cricket Club, every year the charity walk goes through Stroud’s five valleys of Painswick, Slad, Toadsmoor, Chalford and Nailsworth.
Participants were able to choose between walking part of the route or taking on the whole distance.
The sponsored walk supports the charity’s lifesaving research as well as raising awareness and supporting those who suffer from meningitis.
