With the current state of affairs as chaotic as it is, I would like to take a moment to ask you to register to vote.

Understandably, a lot of people have lost faith in our current administration and the validity of our democratic system.

Whichever side of the fence you currently sit, you have been fundamentally ignored by those in seats of power.

We have an unelected Prime Minister smashing a trail through our democratic system to simply take care of his vested interests and those of his pals.

He has lied to everyone to ensure he gets his own way.

Not even his own brother trusts him.

How have we let an underprivileged, Etonian fool, as out of touch as Boris De Pfeffel Johnson, who was fired from a position in parliament for lying, become our Prime Minister?

In the EU referendum of 2016 (three years ago) more than half of voters over the age of 50 voted to leave.

The vast majority not having any idea of what chaos and long lasting problems it would cause.

In relation, over half of those under the age of 50 voted to remain.

It is estimated that since referendum as soon as the end of 2016, over 120,000 of those that voted to leave had since passed away.

Only 64 percent of 18-24 year olds that were eligible to vote, actually did so.

And over 90 percent of those over the age of 65 voted.

The future of our country and those who have to live in it was decided by those who on average will only be here for 15 more years… I don’t need to get in to all the details of how disastrous a “No Deal Brexit” would be as it seems it is now common knowledge.

The only way for us to re-establish democracy in our country is to take it back to the people.

Now all of the facts are on the table.

Now that we understand what the options are and how they will affect us and the future of our country.

We must decide our future with the knowledge needed to ensure our country’s best interests are at heart.

It has become a very strange situation we find ourselves in.

Five years ago there were of course Eurosceptics, there always have been.

But the speed and ease of completely toxifying half of the country is truly worrying.

It was terribly easy for Farage and Boris to direct people’s anger towards a constitution that has for years insured safety, peace and prosperity between a union of neighbouring countries.

We must really take a step back and decide for ourselves who the enemy is and not have Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson, the Sun or the BBC decide it for us.

These monumental times must bring us together not push us apart.

We must stand shoulder to shoulder against the right-wing, dishonest, conniving rot that has strived to separate us.

Like those that came before us did, not too long ago. It didn’t defeat us then. Why should it now?

Registering to vote is so easy to do.

It literally takes two minutes and then five minutes to actually vote.

Please spare just seven minutes of your life to ensure that we aren’t handing down a world that has been totally ruined for generations to come.
