A TEAM of handy volunteers will return to the Cirencester Repair Cafe this weekend ready to fix a variety of items that need mending.

The volunteers, who have expertise in electronics, sewing and more, will be on hand at the repair cafe on Saturday from 10.30am-1pm.

The Café, held at 12 Ashcroft Road in Cirencester, is open to for locals who have anything that needs mending.

In the last 12 months, volunteers have welcomed more than 80 items ranging from an accordion to a windchime and fixed 70 percent of them.

If your vacuum isn’t cleaning, your shredder isn't shredding or your cardigan has more holes than buttons, then the skillful repair team may be able to help you out.

Repairs are free but donations are very welcome.

Founded in November 2017, and aiming to run monthly, the cafe is volunteer-run.

Subsequent sessions will be held on October 12, November 9, December 14 and January 11, 2020.
