Cirencester’s Barn Theatre has announced the arrival of Jeeves and Wooster in 2020 early as excitement builds about their New Year programme.

The award winning theatre is putting on a production and reimagining of the classic P.G. Wodehouse play.

This version is called Perfect Nonsense by the Goodale Brothers and is adapted from the original - Code of the Woosters.

In this version three actors hurl themselves from role to role as they race to tell the story of Bertie’s farcical adventures.

The production is part of a tour and will be at Chipping Norton before coming to The Barn Theatre from April 21 to May 9.

Theatre producer Jamie Chapman Dixon said: “We are already being asked about next year so we are letting ‘one of the cats out of the bag’ early.

"Our Built by Barn comedies have been well received and I would expect the same for this show.”
