A new community charity music festival in Cirencester attracting bands currently touring the UK will take place this weekend supporting a children's charity
The inaugural PluckFest takes place on Saturday, September 14, in the beer garden of The Golden Farm Inn, Cirencester from midday.
Nine bands including Plucking Different, The Strays, The In-Here Brothers and A’La Ska are all set to play at the event.
There will also be a bar, food and fun for all the family including a bouncy castle, face painting, glitter and more.
Festival organiser Huw Parry said: "Cirencester has an amazing music scene and I am delighted to be involved in creating a new free entry charity music festival bringing the local community together for a great cause.
"PluckFest is supporting The Pied Piper Appeal and all proceeds raised on the day will go to the local charity that’s supports sick children in the area.
“We will also have a big raffle with amazing prizes donated by the local business so I would encourage people to come along and get involved.
“I would personally like to thank our volunteers and key sponsors Kelly and Sam Keen, Cain & Fuller and Comstor for enabling the festival to go ahead.”
Admission is free, with all proceeds going towards The Pied Piper Appeal.
