The Bull Hotel in Fairford played host to An Evening with Micky Quinn, the former Newcastle United and Coventry superstar.
The famous now retired striker played predominantly as a centre forward from 1979 until 1996.
Micky now works on UK radio station TalkSport and spends his time training racehorses.
Bull manager Stephen Pitt said: “We had a packed room for the evening with people coming from various football clubs and organisations to hear what Micky’s views are on the modern game.
"It was a funny evening enjoyed by all.”
Micky was a guest of the Cotswold hotel, owned by Arkell’s Brewery and now run by the Barkby Group.
