An iconic racing pub in the Cotswolds is under new ownership.

The Lucky Onion group owned by Superdry co-founder Julian Dunkerton and his wife Jade have taken over The Hollow Bottom in Guiting Power.

Next month, the group will reveal the new addition to its family of properties with the newly renovated pub.

The 17th century Cotswold stone pub has been a staple part of the racing community for decades.

An historic building, the pub features large recessed windows, low ceilings and exposed stone walls and timbers.

Julian Dunkerton, said: “It is our ongoing commitment to restore historic buildings in the Cotswolds and Cheltenham.

"Racing is the heart of the local community as is The Hollow Bottom, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that locals and visitors are able to continue to celebrate both.”

Celebrating his passion for local ingredients, director of food for the group Ronnie Bonetti has created a simple yet delicious menu featuring classic pub dishes while Sunday’s menu honours the traditional British roast with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.

The Hollow Bottom is the first pub in a series of new developments by The Lucky Onion with plans to develop multiple historic buildings in and around Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
