The now retired officer reporter and followed the woman until police arrived
Police have praised a former officer who stopped a suspected drink driver.
On Tuesday night, the now retired officer reported and followed a driver in Lechlade.
A 52-year-old Lechlade woman was found to be almost four times the drink drive limit and was arrested.
She was charged last night and will be in court on September 19.
