A 19-year-old man has been jailed after assaulting an emergency worker in Cirencester.
Joshua Rayalo, of no fized abode, was arrested on Monday night after police responded to a report of a disturbance outside a property in Middle Mead.
A police officer was assaulted during the incident but did not suffer serious injuries.
Rayalo was charged yesterday and appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court today (August 21).
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six weeks in prison. A 12-week suspended sentence, imposed on Rayalo for assaults on two police officers earlier this month was also activated, meaning he will spend 18 weeks in jail.
