Its the second officer assautled in two days in Cirencester
Another police officer was assaulted in Cirencester last night, the second in two days.
At 10pm, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving on Dyer Street.
He was further arrested for assaulting the officer requesting a breath test.
The PC is said to have suffered only minor injuries.
The suspect remains in custody this morning and will be interviewed later today.
