Residents of Olveston parish are being asked their opinion on the apparent increased volume and speed of traffic.

The Traffic and Parking Sub-Group of Olveston Parish Council are collecting the information after safety fears were raised.

A post on the council's Facebook page said: "In recent years the local community have expressed serious concerns over the safety of all residents, due to the increased volume and speed of traffic through our villages."

Other issues to be considered include antisocial street-parking, signage, lighting and traffic-calming measures.

The council wants opinions on possible traffic-calming measures, including the option of introducing a 20mph through the villages, as well as other traffic and parking relating issues you may be facing.

Information gathered will then be presented to the council.
