A 10-year-old boy was left with facial injuries after he was knocked off his scooter in Tetbury.
Last Wednesday, at around 4pm, the boy was on his scooter while in the skate park at the Rec in Tetbury.
It was then that a man was said to have stuck his foot out in from of the scooter which caused the child to go over the handlebars.
He was said to have suffered facial injuries which required medical attention.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: "Police were informed that on Wednesday, August 7, a boy had been knocked off his scooter while in the skate park at the Tetbury Recreation Ground.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 and reference crime 23836/19."
