THERE is a vacancy on Malmesbury Town Council following the resignation of Cllr Gary Darling-Parkes.
If 10 requests for an election by ten electors are not received by August 30, the position will be filled by a co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place no later than November 4.
Anyone interested in being considered for the vacancies are requested to make an application.
To do so, contact Malmesbury Town clerk Richard Spencer-Williams for a councillor co-option pack and application form which may also be downloaded from the town council website.
Applications should be submitted to Richard Spencer-Williams, town clerk, Town Hall, Cross Hayes, Malmesbury, Wiltshire SN16 9BZ or emailed to administration@malmesbury.gov.uk no later than August 30.
