A Cirencester man who assaulted a police officer has been given a community order.
Luke Moore, aged 26, of Hagarth Close, Cirencester, was found guilty of the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 26.
The court heard how Moore assaulted the officer in Cirencester on March 6.
He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
Moore was also ordered to pay costs of £685.
