Former Newcastle United and Coventry superstar Micky Quinn is going to give a ‘warts and all’ talk about his time in the ‘beautiful game’ on Friday, August 30, at The Bull Hotel in Fairford.
The famous now retired striker played predominantly as a centre forward from 1979 until 1996.
Micky now works on UK radio station TalkSport and spends his time training racehorses.
Manager of the hotel Stephen Pitt is pleased to have such a big name on board.
He said: “He is a friend of one of our managing directors and it will be a pleasure to host him
“He was one of the first Premier League cult stars and was known for his burly appearance and goal scoring prowess – I am looking forward to the evening."
He will be appearing at the hotel as part of a dining evening with Pie & Mash as part of the offer.
