A 51-YEAR-OLD Cirencester man was caught driving a Mini Cooper despite the fact that his driving licence had been revoked due to his disability, a court heard yesterday.
David Ogden, of Fry Close, Kingshill Meadow, Cirencester, admitted driving a vehicle on a road after the revocation of a driving licence on account of disability.
He committed the offence on April 12 at Southgate Mews, Cirencester, magistrates in Cheltenham were told.
Ogden did not appear in person before the court but he wrote pleading guilty to the offence.
District Judge Joti Bopa-Rai imposed three penalty points, fined Ogden £80 and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs.
