Hello SNJ, today I am going to write an article about my class Year 6 residential.

We went away for five days and we were staying at a place called Croft Farm in Tewkesbury.

It was a water sports place and had a huge lake where we did sup (stand up paddle boarding), kayaking, raft building and sailing.

There was also a river very near so we did kata-canoeing on the river.

It was raining non stop all the time whilst we were there, I got very very cold and super wet.

Not all of the activity’s we did were on water, we did other things such as the sensory trail, rocket launch, circus skills, climbing, abseiling and orienteering.

My favourite thing was sailing.

On one of the nights we had a disco.

I took a disposable camera with me but unfortunately it broke and only half the pictures that I took were stored on the camera.

I had a really good time even though I only got about six to eight hours sleep (I usually get about 11 hours sleep) so I got about half the sleep that I would have at home.

We were staying in shed like cabins with two bunk beds in.

We weren’t in them very much because we were doing activities all day.

It was a great end to our time at Gastrells.
