Voting has opened to decide the charities that will benefit from the 2020 Cirencester Calendar.

Members of the public are being ask to nominate one charity of their choice.

The top 10 most nominated charities will then go into a poll where the top three most voted four will be the three recipients of the profits from the sales.

Voting will take place over two stages.

The first stage will take place on the Cirencester, A Local Town For Local People Facebook group.

Voters are requested to reply to Lady Sara Bathurst's post on the page with the charity of their choice.

It must be a non-profit organisation based within Cirencester or the directly surrounding areas, such as South Cerney, North Cerney, Siddington, Chesterton and Stratton etc.

A charity may be voted for multiple times but it needs to be by different people, multiple nominations from the same person will not count.

The 10 most mentioned charities will go into the final poll where the top three will be selected.

In a bid to spread proceeds, recipients of last year's funds, Shine, Cirencester Open Air Pool and Oak and Furrows, will not be able to enter this year.

If there is a tie, Lady Bathurst and Adam Vines will make the final decision.
