There is currently a 'one in one out' system in place at Cirencester Open Air pool.

With temperatures soaring, the lido has inevitably become very busy and a long queue is growing outside the pool.

Swimmers are advised to bring water, sun cream and hats and to expect quite a long wait to get in.

The Open Air Pool posted the following on their facebook account: "On site, we have a maximum capacity limit, which we strictly observe.

"On hot days, we may have to use the one out, one in system. This will be relayed to the public whilst they are queuing, and across our website and social media.

"If you are planning to visit us on hot days, please bring with you: a drink, suncream, a hat or umbrella to shelter from the sun. You can be in the queue for a while and there is no shelter on the riverside walk."
