A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash.
It happened at 9.45am yesterday morning, on the A44 at Fish Hill near to the junction with Buckle Street.
A black Citroen CI and a grey Aprilia motorbike were involved in the crash.
The Citroen entered the A44 from the Chipping Campden side of Buckle Street and the motorbike was travelling up Fish Hill.
The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old man from the Northampton area, suffered multiple serious injuries which were thought to be life threatening.
He was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham for further assessment and treatment.
His next of kin has been informed.
The driver of the Citroen, a 36-year-old woman from the Chipping Campden area was uninjured in the collision.
Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it or saw either of the vehicles before the collision occurred.
They would particularly like dashcam of the collision or anything which may be relevant.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 177 of July 6.
