The Barn Theatre will be hosting a series of special comedy evenings on weekends throughout the year, branded “Sunday Night at the Barn.”
From Next weekend, Sunday night entertainment will feature a mix of established and the best UK up and coming comedians.
Artistic director at The Barn Theatre, Iwan Lewis said: “Like our 'Built By Barn' productions our Sunday Night at the Barn shows will deliver a high quality comedy experience that our discerning theatre goers will love."
Sunday, July 14
Sunday Night at the Barn opens on July 14 with Kieran Boyd, a talented comedian who has enjoyed nine years of sold out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as numerous comedy festivals across the UK. The first night’s event is shared with Susan Riddell, a regular on the topical BBC radio panel show, Breaking the News.
Sunday, July 21
Star of Tonight at the Palladium (ITV) Stand Up Central (Comedy Central and LIVE from the BBC star Adam Hess opens the second Sunday along with Julian Dean (a writer on Mock the Week) who recently appeared on Russell Howard’s Hour and supported Paul Chowdhry on a mammoth nationwide tour Live Innit.
Sunday, July 28
Jayde Adams described by the Daily Mail as “Britain’s Funniest Comic,” and award-winning stand-up comedian, Rich Wilson, close the July Sunday at the Barn special and very much set the tone of the exceptionally high standard of comedy acts to be expected in the months to come.
