Changes have been made to kerbside recycling, food and garden waste collections dates across the Cotswolds later this month due to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.

Planned restrictions on traffic movements prior to the event have prompted Cotswold District Council to make changes to the collections scheduled for July 18 and 19.

Collections due on Thursday, July 18, will move to Friday, July 19

Residents in areas including Ashley, Avening, Baunton, Cherington, Daglingworth, the Duntisbournes, Edgeworth, Frampton Mansell, Kemble (partially), Rodmarton, Sapperton, Stratton, and Tetbury Upton who are due to receive a refuse, recycling, food and garden waste collection on July 18 will receive their collections a day later on July 19.

Ubico crews will alert residents two weeks before the event by attaching informative bin hangers to refuse bins.

Collections due on Friday, July 19, will move to Thursday, July 18

Residents in areas including Down Ampney, Dudgrove, Eastleach, Fairford, Hatherop, Lechlade, Kempsford, Quenington, Southrop and Whelford who are due a food and garden waste collection on July 19 will receive their collections a day earlier on July 18.

Food and garden waste collections in both areas will return to normal in week commencing Monday, July 22, and then refuse, recycling, food and garden waste collection will be back to normal in week commencing July 29.
