I AM deeply concerned about some thoughtless dog walkers on Minchinhampton Common.

Many are placing their dogs waste into plastic bags which they simply throw onto the ground without finding a container or taking it home.

Along comes a little calf and, thinking it is food, chews the entire parcel.

The plastic gets caught in its gut and it dies an agonising death.

This is happening all over the country from the New Forest to Scotland.

Much better to leave the waste alone where the rain will wash it away or take the parcel home.

Dog walkers are turning into animal torturers in total ignorance.
