This Volunteers' Week (1 – 7 June) Mind is celebrating the incredible work of the 2,500 people who voluntarily give their time to raise awareness and funds for Mind, with the majority working in our high street shops, including Moreton in Marsh Shop.

Last year, Mind shops raised £3.3 million, which wouldn’t have been be possible without our wonderful volunteers.

All the money raised goes towards helping the one in four of us in the UK living with a mental health problem.

Because of our volunteers’ efforts, we are able to continue delivering Mind’s vital support services such as our confidential Infoline, trustworthy resources and the campaigning work we do, helping to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

A massive 90 per cent of people said they acquired new skills and knowledge as a result of volunteering at a Mind shop, and 94 per cent would recommend it.

We’re so grateful to all of our volunteers for helping us to make a positive difference in the lives of so many people.

We are always in need of passionate volunteers willing to sort items, create brilliant displays and assist our customers.

If you’d like to find out how you can develop new skills, get some work experience or even work towards obtaining an NVQ at Moreton in Marsh Shop visit
